Margibi County: A 16-year-old minor student in Margibi County, Princess (Surname hidden) is reported dead after eating what is believed to be a poisonous bread (donut) allegedly given to her by a friend identified as Mary Kollie.
The incident occurred at the School of Christ International in Weala, Margibi County, leaving many community dwellers in the state of shock.
According to reports, Princess (surname hidden) and Mary Kollie have been besties (best friends) for years before the tragedy occurred.
According to reports, Mary bought the donut for the deceased, Mary (Surname hidden) as a way of further cementing their long time friendship.
Mary has denied any wrong doing; she is detained at the Weala Police Station awaiting court trial.

The death of the 16-year-old student has raised concerns in the county over the safety of public food, as some people have attributed the incident on the poor handling of street food.
“I believe the da something poisonous enter the bread the time they was baking it. But my real concern is the people who can fix street food. They can just cook anyhow, not even thinking la (that) human beings le (they) coming sell it to,” says Jerome Singbe, a local vendor in Weala.
Singbe wants the government to take drastic measures on people selling food in unkept environments, adding, “That will help reduce some of the ugly things things we are seeing here”.
